I don& #39;t know how old this kid is but *HE* is far too young to make a decision about his gender. The mom said he was 4 when he first told her that "God made a mistake" and "I should have been born a girl". 1. God does NOT make mistakes. Quite the opposite. Though we are all sinners the Bible tells us that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and that God "formed [our] inward parts and knitted [us] together in [our] mother& #39;s womb" (Pslam 139) 2/

2. This is the opposite of the duty of mother (or father) given by God. We are to "train up a child in the way he should go" and to teach them about the things of God. Parents like this mother do the opposite. It& #39;s one of the tragic effects of sin. 3/

3. Teaching/training up boys and girls (the gender assigned to them by God, their Creator) to grow into godly men and women is a beautiful stewardship. Biblical, God-defined manhood and womanhood is what& #39;s worth fighting for. It& #39;s incredibly beautiful
