So, today Biden signed an order calling for "the establishment of a Civilian Climate Corps Initiative to put a new generation of Americans to work conserving and restoring public lands and waters..."

Young ppl need jobs, time with each other, and the land needs healing. But the devil will be in the detail. The jobs have to pay a living wage. And the biggest challenge will be making sure the entire program is rooted in Indigenous land rights + leadership - no green colonialism
