There’s four ways to interact with a bill in the state legislature.

2. Find when it’s in a committee and sign up for “remote testimony” which gives you three options a) remote testimony sign up b) send a comment that all people on the committee will get c) register a pro or con for the record for that particular committee hearing

A lot of action alerts ask you to sign in “pro” or “con” for a hearing so that legislators can quickly gauge “the publics” feelings on it vs the paid lobbyists who are mostly the ones sitting around with hella time to actually testify.
