During his primary campaign this year @RepMann ran a disgustingly xenophobic ad that echoed a violent white nationalist militia who now face 25 yrs in prison after the FBI foiled their bombing plot in Mann's district in 2016. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/26/us/kansas-militia-trial-sentencing.html
The white nationalist militia was targeting a Somali immigrant community and despite the near-miss of horrific violence @RepMann decided to spend good money amplifying similar xenophobic troupes for his own personal and political gain.
@RepMann's flagrant disregard for his own district to win a GOP primary in of itself should be disqualifying but recent events only further underscore how a willingness to flirt with racism, division, and lies has serious downstream consequences.
More importantly, Garden City itself shows the exact opposite of @RepMann's approach.
