1/4 I’ve just read a post on here that if you attend all the Twitter hours, your sales will soar? I’m really glad that has happened for some! However, it is a sweeping statement that I cannot agree with! I began my Etsy shop in Sept.
2/4 I attend all of the Twitter hours,have won 3 awards in the last few weeks & spend such a lot of time marketing my small business by networking, showing off my products & listen to advice of those who know. I have sold one item since opening! My sales have not increased a jot.
3/4 I know my products are well made, look good & not overly priced! I get fantastic comments! But no sales. So whilst I’m glad that some people are having soaring sales! Please spare a thought for those, like me, who are doing everything correctly but not reaping the rewards.
4/4 This said, I believe that it’s a long game! And eventually my hard work will pay off. And for those who are lucky enough to get there sooner - great! But I don’t think it is as simple as saying attend all Twitter hours and sales will soar!
