As we're coming up to 2021, a gentle reminder for those setting New Year's goals and resolutions: make them realistic and attainable.

Loading yourself up with multiple or huge goals is more often counterproductive. You can always revisit your goals and expand upon them too, but the point of your goals should probably be that they're something you can actually aim for. (2/4)
Also, consider making them something you control, not something you're relying on someone else for. I.e. "I will submit to one agent a month" is a great goal, but "I will get an agent in 2021" relies on several factors you have no control over. Focus on what *you* can do. (3/4)
Make your goals something FUN! Make them encouraging, not stressful. Then kick 2021 in the butt and expand your goals as you reach them. Heck, you can even just start by setting a goal for January! (4/4)
