#MaleFilmmakerMonday 2night lets remember James Cagney. Born James Francis Cagney N New York City on July 17th, http://1899.An American actor and Dancer of Stage, Film, T.V. and Radio. His first performance on stage was N a pantomime. Then he auditioned 4 and won the
role of a chorus GIRL N a play titled "Every Sailor." During the 30's and 40's he was a top star. He was especially great at playing tough guy gangster roles. N 1942 he became president of the Screen Actor's Guild. He also raised a lot of money, during World war 2, 4 war bonds.
He always looked out 4 the underdogs N society, and gave generously 2 causes he cared about. He made 64 Movies, 3 T.V. appearances, 4 Radio shows, (?) several Plays. My favorites were: The Public Enemy(1931), Angels with Dirty Faces(1938), The Roaring Twenties(1939),
Yankee Doodle Dandy(1942),Blood on the Sun(1945), White Heat(1949), Mister Roberts(1955), Tribute to a Bad Man(1956). He was 1 of those rare individuals that held UR attention N everything he did. He died Mar.30th, 1986. He found acting 2 B his forte. Do U have acting or any
