Because all of the science-based evidence was in strong favour of SCS, the UCP needed to fabricate their own evidence to justify their war on #HarmReduction.

2 - Halting a virtual overdose prevention service hours before it launches.This was a service designed for the 80% of Albertans who are dying alone in their homes.

While the results of the audit raised significant concerns for all of us, the response from the #UCP was callous and deadly.

To summarize—the deaths announced today were preventable.
Many of them are the result of the #UCP’s disdain for life-saving #HarmReduction services.
