Funny the way things work out. When Michelle and I worked together, she introduced me to her Regional Pharmacy Director. We hit it off but when she came to our facility as Interim CEO in July, we immediately bonded.
I cried the day we hired the new CEO bc she and I had gotten close and we worked really well together. We’ve kept in touch and talked on the phone yesterday.
She told me “We didn’t know it at the time but Michelle gifted us with each other. I know I’ll never replace her but I’ll be your person if you’ll let me.”
So... thank you, Michelle. Your friendship and love for me continues even though you’re not here anymore.
