Volunteering recs for the homestretch! We believe these will be among the most effective ways to use your time to ensure that we win back both the Presidency and Senate.

For the final stretch, we recommend concentrating your efforts on three states: Pennsylvania, Iowa, and North Carolina.

For the Presidential race, it's been clear for months that Pennsylvania is the most likely state to determine the race. But unlike other swing states, it still has over 60% of its 2016 vote total still outstanding, mostly people who plan to vote in person on Election Day.

Between possible polling error, the state's byzantine rules for returning mail ballots, the possibility of long lines due to casting provisional ballots, and whatever Election-Day mischief might occur, protecting the vote in Pennsylvania is of utmost importance.

How about IOWA?
With ACB on the Supreme Court, control of the Senate has taken on must-win status. While a dozen races are competitive, there is only one true tossup in the entire bunch, and it's the Iowa contest between Joni Ernst and Theresa Greenfield.

The Iowa race has tightened again over the past week and it looks like just a few thousand votes could make the difference. Strangely, Iowa has flown under the radar all cycle compared to other states with similarly competitive races, and volunteer opportunities are few.

Iowa's GOP Secretary of State recently closed or consolidated polling places affecting 30% of the state's residents, disproportionately in urban areas. This is a state where more than 40% of the 2016 vote has yet to be cast. We need your help reaching these voters!

... and most of the outstanding ballots are Democratic votes. In addition, Black and Latinx turnout is about 7-15 percentage points lower than white turnout in the early vote. We can absolutely win this, but we're going to have to work for it!
