dreading the day that snk decides to "genderbend" iori in kofas
LISTEN i am all for reimagining characters to what you want them to be. but given that genderbending is most often carried out by cis people with no regard or understanding of our (trans people& #39;s) experiences it really makes me uncomfortable.
someone on here already pointed out the problem with genderbending but I can& #39;t find the tweet

ok so genderbending. i& #39;m not saying you SHOULDN& #39;T make a character who is originally a man into a woman or vice versa. anything that comes from a desire for representation is completely a-ok!!!
I would love to see iori as a woman bc *projects* but at the cost of what? fetishization? miss me with that snk
