Today was a very long day. I’m not complaining. I was able to share the news of my city and it’s people.

News that wouldn’t have been possible without @tamburintweets, @natalie_allison & @yihyun_jeong all busting their butts on the ground. (Cont’d)

It couldn’t have been done without Mike Fant running around downtown all day with a livestream video running to show us what was going on. Or @AyrikaWhitney’s video genius.

Or without @Andrew_Nelles and @LarryMcCormack1 documenting the scenes with excellent photos. (Cont’d)

Definitely couldn’t have happened without @lschubauer jumping in to save my butt or without @JJHensley, @shellacandvinyl and @GabeHauari just dominating everything that popped up. (Cont’d)

And I know I’m going to forget some people but I’ve already started this thread and it’s too late to turn back now, so I am truly sorry if I didn’t tag you.

But the team I work with each day is just fantastic. The @Tennessean and its people are family to me. (Cont’d)

So enough with the rant, right? I’ll just say thanks to everyone for all they did today. It’s a honor working with you.
